The 2010 AFI Global Policy Forum
KITASATUBALI was awarded the project to organize the event and to coordinate the creative production of The 2nd Global Policy Forum (GPF) on Financial Inclusion in Bali, Indonesia. The forum was held at Ayana Resort Bali, from 27-29 September 2010. Our client was Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI), who jointly convened the prestigious event with Bank Indonesia, the central bank of Republic of Indonesia. This 3-day Forum was officially opened by H.E. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the President of Republic of Indonesia.
For the event management, KITASATUBALI handled the invitation mailing, e-registration to ground handling and event logistics. As for the creative production, we developed the seating plan, seating changes, AV, live feed, stage and screen production and exhibition booth. It was a very interesting project as the event itself applied interactive meeting settings (fishbowl, world cafe, market place). This is inline with AFI's mission as a global network of policymakers in developing countries that provides its members with the tools and resources to share, develop and implement their knowledge of cutting-edge financial inclusion policies that work. The 2nd Global Policy Forum was attended by 171 persons from 44 countries. Majority were policymakers from developing countries, and several others were strategic partners from leading organizations with key interest in micro financing and financial inclusion.
